Wellness: What is wellness to you?

 
My idea of wellness is for me to feel the best I can be emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.

 

What is your idea of wellness? Today I feel that I can improve on these areas, where do we start?

 
• Know where you’re at

 
• Know what you want to change and what you are prepared or ready to change

 
Above are two very different things, a lot of time we know what we need to change but we simply are not prepared or ready to make that change.

 
For instance people who smoke and know it’s bad for their health. We all know it would be better for them to give up and improve their chances of living a healthier life but they are not prepared to give smoking up.

 

When people decide to give up they will but not before they decide that they are now prepared to give up.

 
Most of the time we try to make massive changes to our lives without really planning those changes, it is usually a rash decision, we then reach a short term goal and go back on the same path again.

 

 

Obesity is a Global problem. “Dieting” we tend rush into it without much thought, gain great results and then return to previous eating habits again. We put the weight back on. By experience I’ve been on this road plenty of times. I have lost over 15kg’s to date and I am on my wellness journey forever and would love to help others who are ready to take the same path as me.
